Ruby's metaphor for all storybuild material is rocking stone pottery.
Is there gold or orichcalcum (fool's gold) in them there hills?  Ruby will find out soon.  She is going to add a few things to online store to get her feet into the free market mud (errrm experiment).  Her benefactor isn't quite so sure about all this.  So long as it doesn't require her to "sell out" her story for the sake of selling a few baubles.  We shall see...

Why Rocking Stone Pottery?  Rocking stones were/are used to determine the innocence or guilt of any person, place or thing.  Ruby keeps one at the ready in her front yard. Whenever its necessary to make a judgement call, she can rely on the stone.  The name for the store is apt. It is a metaphor all storybuild material (text, object or script). That is what Ruby plans to offer up for sale (scenery, garments, props and graphics).

It is Sunday. Ruby woke up thinking about beanstalks. Although she promised "nagging matt" that she would complete the walkabout tour of Brantley Lake S. Cavern #3, she diverted her attention to her own exhibit, Neverland to Nigh Earth. This beanstalk sprouted quickly on Puck's Hill. There is bound to be mischief and stories aplenty. Partly sculpt, partly prim and partly mesh, this is a real stone soup blend.

Matt is putting more pressure on Ruby to finish the Brantley Lake S. Cavern entrance. The hot springs is a bonafide source of red algae (per wikipedia). Everyone with any D'ni sense knows that red algae is a source of light and likely ever lasting life. Give or take an explosion or two. Oh well, the springs is now pumping up its poison bubbles (calcium carbonate). Anyone care for a taste test?

Matt came by. He is still not happy about the diversions Ruby finds. He would like to see her writing only about Brantley Lake S. Cavern 3. At least he found his cabin and his bed. Ruby hopes that he will quit nagging her for a few days.

The curator quarters in the museum is dedicated to author easter eggs. On one wall Ruby hung the benefactor's photo, taken at a celebration in Spokane, WA. On another wall is now what you see here, the Uru story that inspired the Lakewater Project. If only folks understood that scratch stories can begat new adventures.

The Einkudoo Exhibit at Orichalcum is finally ready for visitors. The 12 Ruth Stones were found floating in the sea, but Ladies Guild insists the stones belong here. The great rock of Einkudoo is original to the write. It makes sense the stones should be returned to their spots.

...and now for the periscope. What a duo!

Of course Matt would need a periscope. When Ruby unpacked the periscope in the next snapshot, she remembered fondly that Madge talked through it. Madge could turn any object into something useful with her co-star Tyion. What a duo!

The Ladies Guild is still missing, but artifacts they ordered be sent from Londonderry Postal Office continue to arrive. Today Ruby walked into the Gee_Artan Keep to find the ancient time machine, entire constructed from stone, sticks and story orbs was sitting there to try out. At this point the vehicle is not working, but Ruby plans to find a good time mechanic to get it wormhole ready.

The machine is important to the game, because explorers can earn the reward for performing tasks.

The Down Under Tea and Blend Canteen Pot finally arrived from Londonderry. The Ladies Guild will be delighted. Now Ruby is waiting for the Kirel Baked Treats. Scones simply won't do for this story.

Down Under Tea Company

I had no idea what to do with this first shaft level, but the magic of revision let me know. The other day, while dining with friends, one of the friends talked about a recent trip he took to the mideast, where water is the most precious of commodities. He said the locals ran their hoses to their potted outdoor plants from the air conditioners. The other part of what got told to me came about through my 1,034 trip to the water age. This is about drips, smoke, mirrors, rust and patience.

Now that the basics for all 11 ages are drafted in to the builds, the revision (Ruby's favorite part and mine) begins. Over the weekend she took a much deserved trip back into the deserted cavern and the ages. 5 years ago she took her last trip, so it was nearly new again. A lot of photographs and some time spent are revitalizing a weary writer. By the way, this is Tribe Tamohs Gardens. The garden is situated on the first descent. The sound of waterfalls is deafening, but also refreshing. The benches are reserved for readers.

Down Under Tea Company (Catacombs)

Ruby discovers Matt's catacombs. Brantley Lake S #3 is nearly ready for IHC and snooping explorers to visit. The Antiquarian Detective Research Center, a hotel for IHC visitors and Dr. Dutton's home were secretly relocated to this deep beneath the surface shaft.

Now for the Tea Harvester that follows a track and then descends into shaft. I am not yet sure where to descend the contraption, but I am sure it will show me where it goes soon.

Consortium Park

So now that the gaol is placed at the back of the park, Ruby is at rest the day. Some upgrades (ummmm downgrades/damage) will be added to the prison, but for the most part is a 7 cell version of the original stolen thought. Ruby actually likes stolen thoughts. She and i call them revisions when called up from a new voice.

Ruby took an all too brief trip to the cavern over the weekend. While she fretted about making the last Bahro Cave jump, she imagined a Consortium Park Gaol. This is what awaits explorers who tary too long in the Park - a quaint little home with bars. Muwahaaahah.

It is the contrasts in Tea Leaf Canyon that is so interesting. I like taking the catwalk over the deep ravines. If I fall it means starting over, but its worth it.

The game is within reach now. Today I added the no die, but return to relto script for hapless explorers or intentional cheaters. The only place that its a bit difficult to stay on the path is in the canyon section. The swinging bridges are wide though. Unless a visitor purposely falls off a cliff, the visitor won't be returned to the start - ah the Uncle Wiggly decision we make...

Matt insisted on color for his age. Ruby looked through the dark side that is Matt's persona and found some. One of her favorite views is the Brantley Lake #3 caldera view. Visitors will see the view through a terminal window. Explorers will eventually come across the caldera close up.

The surface is intolerably hot. Muddy pools dot the surface of the desert that surrounds the Brantley entrance. It is always dusk dark.

The Brantley Lake S.Cavern 3 entry area is now open to the public.. Descent into the shaft continues to be constructed. It is closed until late June. A two week preview is expected. Then the shaft will be open only to explorers who earn the right to solve problems and earn rewards.
